Synechron, a global technology services firm offering
end-to-end digital, consulting, and technology support, saw an education problem for its clients: how should financial firms looking to take advantage of digital innovation get started with blockchain technology?
The firm wanted to provide more than presentation
decks and reports, the norm at the time. Instead, Synechron developed a series of code-based blockchain accelerators, each focused on a financial use case and designed to speed up implementation.
Canright partnered with Synechron’s marketing and PR teams to launch the service. We developed the
concept and wrote the marketing copy for a campaign called Blockchain Now: an extensive commercial blockchain-technology marketing campaign and offering launched in September 2016.

Designed to help financial institutions explore, experiment, and implement systems that capitalize on the security and efficiencies possible with systems using smart contracts and blockchain technology, the accelerators covered global payments, margin calls, trade finance, KYC, insurance claims, and mortgages.
Copy for a full-length book and related web pages focused on the benefits blockchain technology can
bring to clients. The purpose was to tie technology innovation to Synechron’s business- and results-focused services, rather than simply exploring the technology in a vacuum.
Blockchain Now was recognized by the industry at large, with the offering receiving accolades at the 2017 Commercial Insurance Awards, the 2017 Sell-Side Technology Awards, and Best New Initiative Award from the 2017 Markets Media. Read about the campaign in Global Technology Review.
